Robert T. Kichefski Robert T. Kichefski passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2, 1995, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was employed for one year by Kaiser Steel Corp.

in Fontana, Calif. and for 37 years by James River (American Can, Marathon). He served as the industrial engineer for the Wausau, Modesto, and Sunnyside, Wash. plants. He served in many capacities at the Washington Street Plant i in Menasha, ending with being the Plant Superintendent.

He served as Plant Superintendent at the Chambersburg, Pa. plant. He served as Manager of Operations of Folding Cartons in Greenwich, Conn. He was Plant Manager at the Newman, Ga. plant.

Robert retired in 1992 while Plant Manager of the Wisconsin Prep Center, Neenah. Robert graduated from Menasha High School where he received the athletic award and the citizenship award for the class of 1951. He was a member of the National Honor Society. He is a charter member of the Menasha High School Hall of Fame. He graduated from the University of Miami which he attended on a basketball and baseball scholarship.

He lettered three years in each sport. He was a member of the Club and of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was a past member of the Chambersburg, Pa. Lions Club. He was a member of the Chambersburg, Pa.

Pawlowski, Heather L. Pawlowski, Kenneth R. Pawlowski, Justin C.

Roberts, Marshall R. Roberts and Sara Elizabeth Kichefski and one great granddaughter, Kayona Pawlowski; his mother, Mrs. Fern Gaertner, Oshkosh; three sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley J. Kichefski.
